Do You Have Any Of These Old Disney VHS Tapes? You Could Be Sitting On A Lot Of Money!
I have to admit that as much as I love
the incredible picture quality of Blu-ray and the convenience of
streaming, there’s a part of me that misses the days of VHS. There was
just something so fun and charming about them. Most likely it’s because I
associate them with my many fond childhood memories of trips to the
local video rental store where’d I’d pick out a movie with my family. We
rented one or two movies a week but if there was a movie that I really
loved, I would spend the cash and add it to my modest collection. To be
honest, I have no idea where my old VHS tapes are anymore and frankly,
most people don’t. But if you recall ever owning any Disney VHS tapes,
you better start searching because they could be worth a small fortune!
Disney has always had a thing for releasing their VHS movies in multiple editions of limited runs. And if you happen to have a rare one, you won’t believe how much some collectors are willing to pay for them: up to $10,000! For example, a rare edition of Beauty and the Beast was sold on eBay for $9,000!
Collectors typically look for editions that have unusual or defective artwork, or were produced in very limited numbers.
Check your VHS tapes for the black diamond icon that reads “The Classics” in the middle. One of these could be worth up to $250! If you see the black diamond with Disney’s signature beside it, it could be worth thousands of dollars!
There’s one older edition of The Little Mermaid VHS tape that sold for $6,000! This particular edition was banned due to one of the turrets on the cover being considered “inappropriate.”
If you have a VHS copy of Beauty and the Beast, find out if it includes the song “Human Again.” The song was cut from later editions and so this version is in high demand by collectors!
Who would have thought these tapes could be worth so much? Make sure you share this story with your family and friends… who knows who might be sitting on a small fortune!

It Looks Like An Old Rotten Tree Trunk. But Looking Closer Reveals An Unbelievable Work Of Art!
Hey buddy, that’s one gigantic tree
trunk… but why is it behind red tape? It looks like it’s all old and
rotting with all that funny texture going on. What’s the big deal? Huh?
Come closer, you say? Sure… wait… HOLY COW. How can this even be
possible!?
So apparently this isn’t just a gigantic tree trunk lying around in a gallery. Nope, there’s a lot more going on over here. Artist Zheng Chunhui has created a piece called “Along The River During The Quinming Festival” and it seems as though he was on a mission to blow everyone’s mind. Take a look at the photos below and try to imagine the incredible skill and dedication required to create something like this… I think it’s safe to say that Zheng succeeded in his endeavour.

The Old Paths
THE OLD PATHSI liked the old paths, when
Moms were at home.
Dads were at work.
Brothers went into the army.
And sisters got married
BEFORE having children!Crime did not pay;
Hard work did;
And people knew the difference.
Moms could cook;
Dads would work;
Children would behave.Husbands were loving;
Wives were supportive;
And children were polite.
Women wore the jewelry;
And Men wore the pants.
Women looked like ladies;
Men looked like gentlemen;
And children looked decent.People loved the truth,
And hated a lie;
They came to church to get IN,
Not to get OUT!
Hymns sounded Godly;
Sermons sounded helpful;
Rejoicing sounded normal;
And crying sounded sincere.
Cursing was wicked;
Drugs were for illness;
And divorce was unthinkable.
The flag was honored;
America was beautiful;
And God was welcome!We read the Bible in public;
Prayed in school;
And preached from house to house
To be called an American was worth dying for;To be called a Christian was worth living for;
To be called a traitor was a shame!
Preachers preached because they had a message;
And Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY!Preachers preached from the Bible;
Singers sang from the heart;
And sinners turned to the Lord to be SAVED!A new birth meant a new life;
Salvation meant a changed life;
Following Christ led to eternal life.
Being a preacher meant you proclaimed the word of God;Being a Christian meant you would live for Jesus;
And being a sinner meant someone
was praying for you!
Laws were based on the Bible;
Homes read the Bible;
And churches taught the Bible.
God was worshiped;
Christ was exalted;
Church was where you found Christians
on the Lord's day, rather than in the garden, on the creek bank, on the golf course, or being entertained somewhere else.
I
still like the old paths the best!
Just For Today
Just
For Today
(and maybe tomorrow)
Stand
tall.
Start
fresh.
Let go of
guilt.
Don't
look back.
Take an
inventory.
Make
amends.
Trust
others.
Believe
in yourself.
Discover
God's love.
Appreciate
your specialness.
Accept
your humanness.
Ask for
help.
Trust
enough to take.
Have the
courage to change.
Accept
the unchangeable.
Be
patient. Keep promises.
Bury
regret. Discard hate.
Transcend
self-doubt.
Don't
dwell on the past.
Love each
moment.
Live each
day.
Build a
better tomorrow.
Open your
heart.
Explore
your soul.
Expect
the best.
Let
miracles happen.
And
smile!
